1) Advertising Guidelines
Our clients agree that any advertisements they submit abides by the following advertising guidelines. Due to the ever changing nature of the internet, advertising guidelines are updated frequently and it is your responsibility as a client to read the advertising guidelines often to check for changes. If you do not agree with our advertising guidelines please do not advertise here. Failing to comply with our advertising guidelines will result account termination.
- Your site(s) must NOT contain viruses, spyware or adware.
- Your site(s) must NOT be a get rich quick scheme.
- Your site(s) must NOT break out of frames.
- Your site(s) must NOT contain any illegal content.
- Your site(s) must NOT be or promote anything that is illegal.
- Your site(s) must NOT contain any adult related material.
- Your ad(s) must NOT contain any misleading subjects lines.
2) Linking/Promoting
You may create a link to your affiliate page for The Pirate Mailer from another website or document without The Pirate Mailer's prior written consent. However, you can not promote The Pirate Mailer through any unsolicited emailing or any other method thought to be SPAM. Any reseller found to be promoting The Pirate Mailer by any method thought to be SPAM will have their access to this domain and all other domains owned or operated by Five Star Services terminated. As a reseller of The Pirate Mailer, you acknowledge that you are acting independently and in no way are you to be considered as an employee of Five Star Services.
3) Affiliate Earnings & Disclaimer
You agree that you will report any earnings from any affiliate program owned or operated be Five Star Services to the appropriate tax authority. You also agree that Five Star Services is not responsible for reporting your earnings to any taxing authority and is not responsible or liable for any issues, damages or losses that may occur if you fail to report those earnings.
In an effort to be completely transparent, we want to let you know that we have an affiliate relationship with some of the companies whose products or services we recommend. This means that, at no additional cost to you, we will earn a commission or credit if you decide to buy any of their products or services. This is one way we maintain this site. Just to be safe, you can assume that any link that you click while on our site or using any of the products is an affiliate link and we will earn compensation as a result.
4) Earnings Disclaimer
Every effort has been made to accurately represent the products, services, and/or techniques and their potential referenced on this website. We are not presenting you with a business opportunity. We are not presenting you with a distributorship. We are not making any claims as to income you may earn. We are not presenting you with an opportunity to get rich.

5) Membership
As a member of The Pirate Mailer you agree to keep your personal information up to date and accurate at all times. This includes but is not limited to your credit card billing information. It's your responsibility to make sure you have the funds available on your credit card to make your payments on time.
Anyone sharing their account information with other people will have their access to this domain and all other domains owned or operated by Five Star Services terminated. Our clients have purchased a single use license and only the client may access thier account.
We reserve the right to, ban, delete, fine or refuse a client's account due to any abuse, cheating or any other action found to be inappropriate or damaging to our business.
6) The Mailing List Requirement
Being on our mailing list is mandatory. Sign-up here if you're currently not on the list. We'll usually send a letter once a day. In order to get your bonus word and submit to an additional 6 safelists per submission you'll need to be on the list and reading our letters. The bonus words are only valid on the day we publish them, in other words the bonus word that we sent out on Monday is only good on Monday in the PST timezone. For Tuesday's bonus word you'll need to read Tuesday's letter.
7) Age Requirement
By registering with The Pirate Mailer our clients agree that they are at least 18 years of age. It is the responsibility of the client to ensure they are complying with local laws and Five Star Services is hereby removed from any liability resulting from an individual gaining membership against such laws.
8) Additional Promotions
Being that all of the people that are on these safelists are required to use Gmail as their contact and list email address we want to encourage you to use an ad tracker. Your URL's may end up in the recipient's promotions folder but we still want you to see that your ads are being sent through our system and are are recieving traffic through our secondary system. With our secondary system we show your site in a full page frame to people that use our services or when we send your ad to our booster. When you use the safelist submitter you will see ads from other members and they will see your ads. Our clients like it, it's not intrusive and it gives you extra traffic that doesn't cost anything extra.
9) Availability of Service
Every effort is made to keep the website up and running smoothly. However, Five Star Services takes no responsibility for, and will not be liable for, the website being unavailable for any span of time due to any and all issues that may occur.
10) No Pop-Up Blocker Allowed
Our clients must disable their pop-up blocker and view our pop-up ads and the pop-up ads of other members. By viewing our pop-up ads and the ads of other members you generate ad revenue that is used to acquire new leads for the premium submitters or gives us the funds needed to acquire new safelist memberships for The Pirate Mailer. If you block the pop-ups and you generate no ad revenue then we'll send your ads to the trash.
We use a JavaScript to detect pop-up blockers. If our system detects a pop-up blocker that person's ads will go to the trash that day, if the violations continue more than 3 times in a 30 day period we'll send all that person's ads to the trash permanently.
11) Refunds
While there are no Federal refund laws in the US, many state laws don't legally require refunds, the refund policy at Five Star Services is that there are no refunds allowed. If at any time you decide you don't want to pay for your membership anymore, just contact us through the Client Services Help Desk, located here and we will stop all future payments from your credit card and we will discontinue your service. If you want to put your reseller site on vacation mode or cancel your reseller license completely, let us know here and we'll make the proper adjustments to your account.

On the page where we thank our friends and associates for all the help and inspiration they've given us over the years, we'd like to elaborate on that.

13) Use of Services and/or Information
Your use of any information or services on any Five Star Services website is entirely at your own risk, for which we shall not be liable. It shall be your own responsibility to ensure that any products, services, advertisements or information available through this and of our websites meet your specific requirements. In no event will we be liable for any loss or damage including without limitation, indirect or consequential loss or damage, or any loss or damage whatsoever arising from loss of data or profits arising out of, or in connection with, the use of our services.
14) Minimum System Requirements
This entire website was built on an HP® all-in-one desktop computer with Windows™ 10 running Google® Chrome™ with a screen resolution of 1366x768. It was beta tested using an Acer® Nitro 5 Gaming Laptop with Windows™ 7 running Google® Chrome™ with a screen resolution of 1024x768. The site has not been tested for use with a telephone.
If you use Mozilla's® Firefox™ browser you will notice the typical Firefox™ deficiencies, including but not limited to, form fields don't align properly, inability to properly view visual effects like colored scroll-bars, frame effects, image effects, text effects, etc.
Google® Chrome™ will greatly increase your internet browsing experience and Google® Chrome™ will automatically tranfer all your Mozilla® Firefox™ bookmarks. There's no reason to keep punishing yourself. Click here to download Google® Chrome™!
15) Reseller Guidelines
Our resellers are only allowed to sell monthly memberships to use the Pirate Mailer. The price is $48 per month. No discounts are allowed and each user must being paying the full price of $48 per month. All resellers must be on a level playing field with each other so every reseller can make sales. If we find out about a reseller that is offering free or discounted memberships we will shut down the reseller's domain.
Resellers can write their ads anyway they wish as long as they represent the service in an honest way. If we find a reseller writing deceptive ads that could make a buyer believe they are getting something that they're not, there will be consiquences, to be determined by Five Star Services. Resellers can use the banner images we provide or they can make their own, if a reseller makes a banner it must be preapproved prior to use, simply contact us through our Help Desk and upload a copy of the banner you want approval for. If approved the banner will be placed on the reseller resources page for all resellers to use.
If a reseller wants to use the mailer then the reseller must purchase a membership from Five Star Services or from another reseller. Resellers can not create a free account for themselves. We do it that way to create a level playing field for all the resellers, all members must pay the minimum price of $48 per month or any sale price offered by Five Star Services.
If at any time a reseller that is paying monthly wants to upgrade to a lifetime reseller license and stop the monthly billing and pay the one-time fee contact us through our Help Desk. The same goes with a monthly reseller that wants to go on vacation mode or to stop all monthly payments completely and repoint their domain. Alll communications should go through our Help Desk.
SPAM & UCE is not tolerated. If Mocha Host sends us a report that a reseller is sending unsolicited commercial email or not following the rules as set forth in the 2003 CAN-SPAM Act, then the reseller's domain will be cut loose from the server and access to the safelist submitter will be disconnected. Market smart or don't market at all. There are pleanty of legit ways to advertise and there is never any reason to send mail to someone who hasn't opted in to recieve it.
We reserve the right to fine, delete, or ban a client due to abuse, cheating or any other action found to be a violation of our policies or damaging to our client's submission quality or our business.
We reserve the right to change our policies at any time. Your continued use of our website, services, and products after any change to these policies will constitute your acceptance of such change. If you do not agree with the changes to these policies, you should discontinue the use of our website, services, and products.
